Boys. In ties. At weddings.

I’ve shot more than 100 weddings with my company now and I’ve noticed some constancy or a few common things that seem to happen at most weddings.  Of course, there are the usual expected things.  But, more often than not the boys are unexpected.  I was going back through pictures over the summer and need to post a few weddings.  Jessica and Jim are one of the couples I need to post about.  As I was sorting through I realized I could do an entire post on just the boys at her wedding!  So, I have a title that keeps zooming through my mind… Boys. In ties. At weddings.  I think it’s hilarious how much the boys play around on the wedding day.  They get ready in like 2 minutes – literally and then play the rest of the time.  Now, not ALL boys do this.  Just most

Enjoy part one of:  Boys.  In ties.  At weddings.

Boys get ready in about 2 minutes if he’s a pro at tying his tie. 3 minutes if Dad ties it.  4 minutes if best man ties it. This groom – he’s a pro. 2 minutes.

2 minutes.  done.
Then we head outside for the ‘traditional’ shots.  But mostly, we play.  Not sure what brought this one on.  It started here and morphed in below. Blue steal.
Memo: groomsmen – get yellow socks. Except one.  I told him I would fix it in photoshop. Someday. Wiping off more kisses. Take a look at the groom – he’s trying to sneak a peek at Jessica in her upstairs window. The bridesmaids were watching Holding hands? G.Q. More sock personality  We headed out to the dock for some fun after the wedding. Not sure what happened here. Boys.  In ties.  At weddings.  Get their ties pulled.  It always makes a good shot.
