Brooke & Brett :: Engagement Pictures at Fort Worth Botanic Japanese Gardens

I was sitting in the parking lot at the Botanic Gardens and it started to rain!  No! Not yet! It wasn’t supposed to rain for another couple of hours.  Brett pulled in a few minutes later and Brooke right after him.  We all three sat in the car deciding whether or not we should take our chances and shoot – pray for the rain to pass or reschedule the session. We each had our iphones with our weather apps starring out the window and watching the clouds move overhead.  “Jen, what do you think?” Brooke asked.  I thought about the situation and didn’t want to the rain to mess things up.  And suddenly… it stopped raining.  A little miracle over the garden. In fact, the sun came out!  How’s that one for ya!   We had a beautiful time in the garden.  It never ceases to amaze me how stunning the Japanese Garden is – at any time of the year.  Yes, I’m a sap for nature.  ;) Brooke and Brett were so fun and easy to photograph.  It was my privilege to see their relationship in the camera and how much they truly care for each other!  I was telling Brooke after I edited the pics how they just seem to fit together, as if they had always been together.  How fun it was to get to know them just a bit more before the wedding!  Enjoy the pics!
